# Study

> The connected planning loop: profile → plan → practice → memory → revision.

Study is one connected system, not a set of separate tools:

```text theme={null}
profile & exams → realistic plan → study & practice → paper results & mistake memory → mastery & revision → next action
```

## Planner

Scheduling is **deterministic** — no AI does the capacity or time-boxing math. The planner works from a student's owned tasks, exam scope and urgency, and their actual available study time, protecting active and completed work and recovering incrementally rather than silently rewriting the plan.

## Next action

Ryze always points a student at one clear next step: active work first, then the most relevant item from their backlog if today's plan has nothing queued. Paused, archived, and expired work is excluded. Applying a suggested action never auto-starts or auto-completes a session — the student is always the one who starts.

## Revision

Review intervals are performance-based and deterministic, capped by how close the next exam is. The mastery view distinguishes a **measured decline** from an item that's simply due for review — time passing alone never invents measured mastery.
